CALVIN KLIEN
What started as a casual visit to Minneapolis quickly turned into an unexpected creative collaboration. Our friend Pooja, a model, graciously invited us to join a shoot she had planned with Ahmed (@612.tiff), a Minneapolis-based photographer with deep roots in film photography.
We originally tagged along just to meet Ahmed and capture a few behind-the-scenes clips, but the shoot naturally evolved into something more. Inspired by the clean, minimal styling of classic Calvin Klein campaigns—sports bra, boxer briefs, natural light—we pivoted on the spot and decided to turn it into a full A-roll fashion reel.
This was also a new learning moment for us: blending photo and video coverage within the same shoot, navigating limited time and space, and learning to flow with the energy of the model and photographer. The result is a fast-cut, movement-driven visual that leans into fashion editorial aesthetics—sharp, intimate, and portfolio-ready.
While not affiliated with Calvin Klein, the shoot takes clear inspiration from their timeless style—often used by models and creatives to build professional portfolios. For us, it was also a chance to continue expanding our presence in the fashion space and experiment with run-and-gun storytelling in a minimalist studio environment.
