OOTD
In an effort to break into more fashion projects, DO x IT launched an internal OOTD reel and photo shoot. We used DO x IT’s very own co-founder, Dom, and a close friend to model two very different takes on street style. We utilized East Williamsburg’s graffiti murals as our backdrop and practiced quick, edgy cuts that intended to grab the viewers attention with outfit details and dynamic movements. Our intention was to highlight each of the models' individual styles, while also finding a way to fuse them into a duo. To do so, we created two unalike characters who happened to cross paths. At this instance we the viewer is transported into their world and we see what it would be like if they were actually a pair. At the end of the sequence, we’re pulled back to reality and our characters continue on as if it never happened.
In addition to video, we captured photos for each model as well as a shoot with the both of them. We played with unique angles and framing, while pushing ourselves to highlight each of the outfits in ways that also captured the essence of each of the models.
