ALUMINATI YEAR 12 INTRO VIDEO
For those unaware, DO x IT gets its dance focus from the baseline that we are both experienced dancers, part of a dance team called Aluminati Dance. For our performance, we pulled together an intro video featuring our theme ‘Masterchef’ in a last-second shoot request. Filming the video within 1-2 hours with no prior conceptualization, we created on the go, completing all shots hand held, pre-conceiving potential VFX, references to shots from other cooking-oriented media (e.g., Masterchef, Overcooked, The Bear), and filming immediately.
In post-production, we used VFX to animate a grease-fire, transitioned shots with excellence, and used enhanced sound design to ensure the video represents a video game-like feel, while staying true to the original inspiration from Masterchef.
